In 2006, the company joined the Lithuanian National Freight Forwarders Association "LINEKA" and became an associated member of the International Freight Forwarders Association "FIATA". In the same year, the company entered the Association of the Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce and became an associated member of the Lithuanian Business Confederation.

In 2008, the journal "Transportas" nominated JSC "Naftos grupė" as the largest freight forwarding company operating at the Klaipėda port. The company accounted for 27,6 percent of all liquid products handled at the port.

In addition to oil products handling, "Naftos grupė" shows an active interest in a wide variety of business opportunities, which enables the company to ensure re-investment of the capital earned by its key activities. New business projects have been developed by establishing company's affiliates, involvement in share capital and cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign partners.

The cargo reaches custom points with readily available all necessary pre-issued customs clearance documents. As a result, oil tank cars do not usually spend a vast amount of time at the border and can proceed to Klaipėda port immediately after forming a new train. The new train can be formed and oil cars distributed within a maximum of three hours.

The terminal can handle up to 500 oil tank cars at one time. Oil tank cars are discharged at two piers:

Light oil products - up to 60 oil tank cars at one time;

Dark oil products - up to 64 oil tank cars at one time.

Overall capacity of reservoirs - 404 500 m³. Rated terminal capacity - 9 million tons annually.  

Reservoir capacities:

The terminal can handle tankers up to 270 m long and up to a 14 m gauge. Maximum tanker load - 100 000 tons. Tanker loading efficiency:  

Light oil products - up to 2000 m³/hour;

Dark oil products - up to 4000 m³/hour;

Crude oil - up to 3800 m³/hour;

The terminal operates all year round.
